Oh, Wow, it's great hearing from you--in a totally different context!!! And it's exciting that you're delving into your own Gaelic heritage---that has helped me at all stages of my life and ministry, in AZ and now in NY. I'm glad you find the 3-fold pattern helpful. Blessings always!

Thanks for the chapter, Ken! I'll look forward to reading it. I like your three-fold pattern of organizing your chapters. It helps with integration. I've been on a journey of exploring my own Celtic heritage and am drawn deeply to the art and symbols, stones and paths of pilgimage! Thanks!

I'm really interested in the historical and theological background of why the "Celtic cross" is the "Celtic Cross"? What does the circle represent? How does the Celtic Cross compare with other cross depictions in early Christianity? What Scriptural/theological influences shaped the Celtic cross?

Hello Phil, Thank you for reading--I especially appreciate your insights knowing your own talents for writing. I'm happy to say that all your questions are amply addressed in the text of the entire book (mostly in the latter chapters).

The Celtic Cross represents the crossover between paganism and acceptance of the Truth of Christianity. It was the sunwheel before the Cross was amalgamated. It also bears witness to acceptance of Christ by Celts not through mass slaughter/bloodletting but by the acquisition the knowledge imparted by the Saints and wisdom provided by the Gospels

Hello George, My thoughts are along similar lines as yours. Chapter two of this book will focus on pre-Christian megaliths, chapter three on sun symbolism, and chapter four on the respectful Celtic Christian way of faith-sharing (and the earliest stone crosses that attest to that). Thank you for taking time to review and respond to my introduction.
